The pederast was washing his hands when it hit him -- he put 2003 on this month's rent check. "Oh no" he thought as he dried his fingers with a fluffy hand towel. "Not again!"
Now he was going to have to cancel the check, call the management company and risk incurring a late-fee.
Every new year the same song-and-dance. One of these years I'm gonna learn, he thought as he returned to his bedroom. "In fact I'll consider it a New Year's Resolution," he said aloud. But he knew how those worked out, too.
