The pederast was washing his hands when it hit him -- he put 2003 on this month's rent check. "Oh no" he thought as he dried his fingers with a fluffy hand towel. "Not again!"
Now he was going to have to cancel the check, call the management company and risk incurring a late-fee.
Every new year the same song-and-dance. One of these years I'm gonna learn, he thought as he returned to his bedroom. "In fact I'll consider it a New Year's Resolution," he said aloud. But he knew how those worked out, too.

01/16/2004 Texxx (4): The word 'pederast' is very under-utilized.
01/16/2004 qualcomm (4): this is important. pederasts have other interests and concerns, just like we "pube-fuckers" do.
01/16/2004 Dylan Danko (4): Fluffy hand towels! Word!
01/16/2004 Will Disney (5): i like this one. kind of forlorn.
01/19/2004 Ewan Snow: I think this short provides an important instructive lesson to all of us. It is often what ISN'T shown that holds the most power. We don't need to see "the pederast" molesting anybody. It all happens off stage. Remember, tell, don't show!
01/19/2004 qualcomm: no, it's show me yours, and don't tell, or your mommy will stop loving you.
01/19/2004 Mr. Pony: Now, now, you don't have any proof that the pederast has touched anybody in an inappropriate manner.
01/28/2004 senator (5): This one made me reconsider the punchline of a good short. No punchline is often a good punchline. Or maybe it was just the word pederast...
