“What’s your major?” Langston had found this line very useful when attempting to initiate a conversation with the fair sex.

“Proctology,” Lucy Wang said, flipping through her assy textbook.

“I didn’t know that was an undergraduate subject.”

Wang batted her eyes at her apparent suitor and shifted her plush bottom in the hard library chair. “It isn’t. I’m doing independent study. My friends all think it’s gross, but I just find the rectum so fascinating.”

“I couldn’t agree more, my dear. Sure, it has its drawbacks. The poop, for instance.”

Wang let out a scandalized yelp. “That’s so typical! Why does everybody have to mention the poop? That’s just a social construct!”

Langston tried to backtrack. “Yes, of course. I was just making a comment on the prejudice against poop. Of course I don’t believe in such nonsense. Poop is just the boogey man of the patriarchal bourgeoisie ruling class.”

But it was too late. Wang didn’t have time for ignorant fecalists. There was a distinct rumbling in her colon, but she ignored it.
