04/7/2004 Cabot (4): What kind of ensemble is on The Lerpa? Chilling.
04/7/2004 Cabot: And why is the 'hero' clad in masking tape underwear?
04/7/2004 scoop (4): the red ribbon binding The Lerpa tuft is a nice touch.
04/7/2004 scoop: Wait, is this the The Lerpa, or a lerpa?
04/7/2004 Cabot: Well, that's the ultimate question. At the end of the piece, we just don't know. Hopefully there will be a sequel. Or a lurpa?
04/7/2004 qualcomm (4): as The Lerpa, i am forbidden from giving this more than 4 stars.
04/7/2004 John Slocum (4): I will have nightmares with Hathuul's dessicated form. Love the bloody piece of leg the Lerpa is in the middle of eating.
04/7/2004 Craig Lewis (4): I love: a.) Ferucio's technicolor palate; b.) the spelunker's loin cloth/diaper/bicycle short nether-garment; and c.) the name Hathuul. The pictures are pretty; the text is good, too. But But But But...isn't it time for a moritorium on Lerpa humor? The Lewis grows weary of this theme. It's getting to be like a friggin' Dungeons and Dragons Club around here.
04/7/2004 Cabot: Maybe you'd change your mind if you viewed it through the accompanying 3-D glasses.
04/7/2004 Benny Maniacs (4): Good call on the D&D metaphor, Lewis. My hit-points on The Lerpa humor are also critically low. Good drawrings though - and angles - Chhretan did well not to break the 180 degree rule of cinematograhy. Ferucio's name is no longer under knob-end status.
04/8/2004 Mr. Pony (4): What I like (and have always liked) about Chhretan's work is his ability to get so much done with so few lines. He shifts the mood from spooky to sickening using just the color. Solid. And Lewis, I think you should not knock Lerpa shorts until you have tried them. They're quite...invigorating. In fact, I think we'll all need to do one before we all get it out of our collective system.
