When Edna realized their hopes were dashed, she decided to sell her shares in Martin’s youth orchestra. Having found a suitable buyer, she could now count on a handsome bounty and began shopping around for land. Knowing her own thirst for cider, she invested in apples. Little did she know that while touring the Old Mill, Martin had secretly negotiated a leveraged buyout of certain tracts of land beyond the orchard’s western border.

During the day, Martin began to toil on his land, sowing rich cash crops and always being sure to rotate the crops and everything! Edna never suspected, however, what he was doing at night.

What his real plans were have to this day gone undiscovered, though the documents unearthed by my best friend, this guy Joey, suggest that there were these people who had once lived on the land, who were planning to haunt it one day in the future, but who were cool for now.

And meanwhile these kids had no place to play their instruments... because of all the shit between Edna and Martin and the whole deal with the Old Mill.

05/11/2004 Benny Maniacs (3): Like the last line but the rest seems like the Author was a little bored, (big fat typo in first sentence for example) and the 'this guy Joe' thing. Maybe I'm being picky.
05/11/2004 Ewan Snow: Shut up.

05/11/2004 qualcomm (5): i'm giving this baby five for its two gems: 1) "always being sure to rotate the crops and everything!" and 2) "people who had once lived on the land, who were planning to haunt it one day in the future, but who were cool for now". also as a corrective.
05/11/2004 John Slocum (3): you shut up
05/12/2004 Mr. Pony: I swear that wasn't me posting that as the Lerpa. He did that on his own.
